Running and shooting this event is much more than one foot in front of the other. Each step is filled with remembrance and gratitude for those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation. PrairieFire is privileged to count numerous individuals who have served with honor and distinction, embodying the spirit of patriotism and the very foundation of the American idea.

For us, a Memorial Day run n' gun is much more than a fun event. We honor those who have given their life, those who have served, and all the family members who support them. For this reason, all proceeds will be donated to Shields and Stripes and the incredible support they provide.

Start time: 8am (to avoid afternoon heat)

About the course:

Embark on an exhilarating adventure with our dynamic Run n' Gun course, designed to test both your physical prowess and marksmanship skills.

You will navigate through the rugged terrain for 3k course which consists of three (3) 1k loops, facing off against two shooting stages strategically placed along the course. With each lap, you'll encounter an array of obstacles, from plate racks to pneumatic ranges, each demanding precision and agility.

Missed shots come with a penalty, adding an extra layer of intensity to the competition.

Whether you're a seasoned runner or a sharpshooting enthusiast, this Run n' Gun course guarantees an unforgettable test of skill and stamina. Gear up, push your limits, and unleash your inner warrior on this gunslinger challenge.

3- 1km loops
25m penalty loop for missed shots
2 shooting stages
Stage 1- Plate Rack, 3 shots strong hand, 3 shots weak hand, then second Plate Rack 6 Shots Freestyle
Stage 2- Plate Rack 6 Shots Freestyle
Stage 3- Pnuematic Range 10 shots

Run 1km loop, Shoot Stage 1, Run 1km loop, Shoot Stage 2, Run 1km loop to finish.
*If bringing your own firearm, 9mm and retention holster required.

All finishers receive one of our custom dog tags.
